ABOUT

The firm in one page

Go where the rules are heavy. Make trust the product. Drive the cost toward zero. Let the research ship.

01

A permanent owner-operator

Multiversal is not a flip shop. The studio funds the work. The products compound it. The lab publishes the research that keeps both ahead. Nothing here depends on outside money: cash-flow positive, revenue-funded, and built to still be here in ten years. Buyers in regulated markets prefer to bet on something that will be.

02

Three convictions

01

Deep regulatory space

We go where most AI vendors will not. Compliance is the foundation, not a bolt-on. Audit-grade proof, sensitive-data discipline, and a paper trail by default.

02

Unit economics, obsessively

We drive the cost to serve toward zero so the return is impossible to argue with. Composable small models on our own infrastructure, not giant APIs.

03

Research that ships

The lab does real work: intent understanding, business-aware loss functions, GPU-level systems engineering. It ships into production and it gets published.

03

Who we are

Akshay Sharma and Kartik Thakore, co-founders. Fifteen-plus years each in healthcare and insurance AI: AI leadership at doc.ai (acquired by Sharecare), Human API and BetterDoctor on health data interoperability and provider data, and an entrepreneur-in-residence seat inside a national health insurer. Two careers spent building AI and data systems inside these institutions, not a team that learned the domain in order to sell into it.

They still write code, and they show up to the working session.

How we work

  • The ask is a working session, not a sales call. Thirty minutes with a real problem on the table.
  • Say less, prove more. Numbers over adjectives. Claims come from shipped work.
  • Concede what we do not do. Every page on this site says where the thing stops. Treat those as hard limits.
